An Afternoon Tea Party

"Tea for two, yes Me and You, not for three just You and Me".

While sitting with my daughter recently she asked "Mommy can we have a Girls tea party, just you and me" ? As we sat on her floor dressed in our best Sunday clothes drinking "Tea" in her delicate little tea set recently gifted to her, I started to reminisce back to the day when I was a little girl . Which by the way , seemed ages ago.

Oh how I longed for a tea set, just like the set we were having our delicious" hot mint tea in.

I recall thinking how could Santa have forgotten about my tea set, I was so good all year - but as I sat with my daughter on her floor that day I realized I couldn't of asked for a more perfect time to receive that special tea set.
